Stand with Ruben Martinez in His Battle

Hello my name is Brandon Martinez and I am making this GoFundMe for my dad Ruben Martinez.

Since early this year he started presenting weakness in his feet and would get pretty swollen, and on April 15th he was admitted to the University of Michigan Health - Sparrow, and remains hospitalized due to a Chronic Neurological Condition, which has led to him losing mobility and strength in his feet and hands, he has had multiple studies done that include EMG, MRI, Blood work, and a nerve Biopsy, and his body has not accepted any treatment so far. And still has no discharge date

We are asking for this help because after the treatment is done he needs to be transferred to a rehab facility where he will get help to start performing his daily tasks such as walking and having motion in his hands and being able to do daily tasks by himself. And he is uneligible for insurance.

He also needs help with his bills because he hasn't had income, and he financially supports himself, my mom and his mom.

As people that know him he is a hard working person, he has worked 7 days a week for several years and at on point worked 2-3 jobs, he cares a lot about his family and friends, He has worked for Texas Roadhouse for 24 years and has been the main meet cutter there, all roadies can attest to the great person he is.

Hola mi nombre es Brandon Martinez y eh creado este GoFundMe par mi papá Ruben Martinez.

Desde principios de este año empezó a mostrar debilidad a la hora de caminar al igual que mucha inflamación, y desde el día 15 de abril se encuentra Hospitalizado en el University of Michigan Health - Sparrow, debido a una Condicion Cronica Neurológica, que a llevado a que pierda el movimiento tanto en sus pies como en sus manos, actualmente ha recibido multiples estudios como EMG, MRI, estudios sanguineos y una biopsia de los nervios. Hasta el momento su cuerpo no ah aceptado los tratamientos por lo que los doctores siguen trabajando para encontrar una cura y aun no hay una fecha para que lo den de alta.

El dinero que se está pidiendo es una parte para poder ingresarlo a una clínica de reabilitacion una vez salga del hospital, ya que, es inelegible para aseguranza, y ahí puedan ayudarle a volver a caminar y volver a tener fuerza en sus manos.

La otra parte que se esa pidiendo es para ayudarlo en sus gastos de vivienda, ya que lleva 2 meses sin trabajar y es el soporte financiero de su esposa, y su madre.

Como sabrán las personas que lo conocen el es una persona muy trabajadora y entregada a su familia, el lleva años trabajando los 7 dias de la semana y hubo puntos en los que tenia de 2 a 3 trabajos, el lleva trabajando en Texas Roadhouse por 24 años como cortador de carne, y los que han trabajado con el pueden atestiguar lo antes dicho.
