Many of you who know Roy personally are aware of his walk and dedication to Christ and his dedicated service. Those who know Roy have also witnessed or known of his lengthy health struggles and have heard of the recent major thoracic surgery to remove an enormous mass from his chest. The mass was diagnosed as a malignant sarcoma. Roy was informed by surgeons and hospital staff that it is believed they were able to remove all of the cancerous growth. However, they indicated that it is impossible to be sure that all of the cancerous cells were successfully removed and are moving to set up radiation treatments to be given daily for 6 weeks.

As most of you know, Roy resides in Gardendale, Texas. His surgery was completed at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and his radiation treatments and all follow-up appointments will be at the same medical facility, which is located some 5 hours' drive time from Gardendale. Therefore, travel and lodging for Roy and his caregivers (his parents Sandra and Alan Inman) will be considerable.
