We are urgently raising funds to support our community leader, Rosales, and her son, members of the Nahuat Indigenous people of El Salvador. Rosales has dedicated her life to fighting for equal rights and opportunities for Latino immigrant and Indigenous Latino communities. Today, she and her son are facing the devastating possibility of deportation.

After years of trying to secure legal status, Rosales was deeply failed by multiple attorneys who took her money without providing meaningful or competent representation. In 2017, she was issued a deportation order. She continued to appeal her case despite mounting odds, but was ultimately forced to stop for financial reasons. Now, there is a renewed opportunity to reopen her case—one that could revoke the deportation order and finally allow Rosales and her son to obtain lawful immigration status.

Rosales is also a survivor of workplace abuse and has shown extraordinary courage in speaking out against the cruelty and injustice of the immigration system. She has consistently stood at the forefront of community empowerment, advocating not only for herself but for countless others.

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Rosales and her family to cover critical legal fees and give them a real chance at safety, stability, and justice.
