Stand with Root & Rebound Workers

Root & Rebound is a re-entry legal services non-profit that serves Californians and South Carolinians. Staff work tirelessly to serve our clients in both states.

However, on March 17, Root & Rebound staff members were unexpectedly and without prior notice placed on an unpaid furlough until May 15. This is just the most recent workplace issue- previously staff members lost health insurance without notice on March 1, and most staff are still owed at least one paycheck, and many are owed substantially more. Management has repeatedly promised to pay staff what they are owed and reinstate health insurance but have so far failed to do so.

We are launching this GoFundMe to assist staff meet their most basic necessities: rent, health care, groceries. Please, chip in if you can to support Root & Rebound as they navigate this months-long unpaid furlough.
