My SFUSD colleagues and I are standing up for students, schools, and the future of public education, and doing it without pay. After bargaining since March 2025, the district still won’t move, forcing us into the first SFUSD strike in nearly 50 years.

This moment is about protecting public education rights our students and staff are entitled to: fully staffed classrooms, sustainable workloads for Special Education staff, funded health benefits, and schools that truly serve their communities. We didn’t choose this lightly. We chose it because the cost of doing nothing is higher.
