Stand with Ronda in Her Health Battle
Donation protected
It’s time to help Ronda Miller. Goodness knows she’s dedicated most of her life to helping others.
Ronda’s giving has included care for low-income families, pro-bono life coaching for those struggling with a homicide or suicide loss, and opening her home, and heart, to fostering kids and pets.
Through actions and award-winning poetry, Ronda has been an advocate for mental wellness, suicide prevention, the homeless and wildlife conservation. Until her ongoing illness, Ronda taught a highly successful program teaching incarcerated men and women how to deal with their feelings through written words.
But Ronda has been in the fight of her life, literally, the past nine weeks. A challenging thoracic surgery, with complications, led to seven weeks of hospitalization, including two weeks in ICU and one week on life-support. She is finally at home but hooked up to a feeding tube for up to 16 hours a day. Ronda faces another complex surgery within six months. It’s unclear when she’ll be able to return to work within the corrections department, or on the six books of poetry her publisher awaits.
The ordeal has taken away two-thirds of her income, as bills insurance won’t cover continue to mount. Any donation will be deeply appreciated. Those of us who know Ronda well, know that if it were us in such a financial and medical struggle, Ronda would be among the quickest to help.
Please keep in mind Ronda has a great medical team and is not asking for health guidance. Words of encouragement are always appreciated!
