Stand with Robyn: A Trans Woman's Fight

Greetings! As many of you know, my name is Robyn Bryant (She/They) and I am a 24 year old transgender woman from a small town in Virginia. Growing up trans in an incredibly conservative area was tough... I had little to no support and spend my whole youth hating myself and trying to "fix" this "curse" that God had put on me. However, as I got older, I met some wonderful people who have helped me and guided me to accept myself and fall in love with the beautiful and wonderful woman I have grown up to be! Even with the support, however, I still face so many challenges day to day. I have been fired, abused, threatened, called slurs, all because I am a little bit different and dare to share my joy and love of my newfound self with the world. In recent days, it has become even harder to stay afloat due to the recent administration changes in the US. Its a scary time, but I vow to fight with everything I have for my trans brothers, sisters, and siblings alike with everything I have!

Due to the recent changes I previously mentioned, it has become harder and harder for me to get support for transitioning and surgeries that myself and many others need in order to live happy, healthy lives. So today, I ask you all for assistance in my journey. I cant do this alone, and I honestly need help. I know times are tough for everyone right about now, so all I ask is to share this with as many people as you possibly can. And for those who can donate, words cannot describe how grateful I am for you, I am forever in your debt.

Lastly, I wanted to mention one more thing. I also want to give back to other trans folks in need. So if I am blessed and happen to receive the full goal amount, every cent beyond that will go straight to The Trevor Project, to support others who are struggling through these hard times.
