Help Robert James Scott Fight Back After Devastating Motorcycle Accident
Story:
On March 25th our friend Rob was involved in a serious motorcycle accident when he rear ended an illegally parked truck with no warning or parking lights visible on a bridge that had it’s lighting disabled. There was no warning—just a split second that changed everything.
Rob is the kind of person who lives life fully and stands strong for everyone around him. If you know him, you know he’s the one who shows up, rides hard, laughs loud, and always has your back no matter what. For those of you who know Rob personally. You know how much of a stand up guy he is and how he will help you no matter what the cause is if he can. And his love for the motorcycle community is 100%. He really needs our support more than anything. We are family. FTW!
Right now, he’s facing
Compound fracture in both left and right femur
Shattered left kneecap
Major tendon damage in left leg
Two broken ribs on posterior right side
Broken nose
Three fractures in face (forehead, below left eye and eyebrow)
Concussion
Major bruising
Thankfully that’s it.
The road ahead is going to be long and challenging, but if there’s anyone tough enough to get through this, it’s him.
Unfortunately, the financial burden is heavy—medical bills, time away from work, and ongoing recovery costs are piling up fast.
Unfortunately, on top of everything else we’re facing we need to move. This house is not set up to accommodate Rob when he’s even out of the chair. All the amenities are upstairs and he’s a looong way off being able to do stairs.
Plus our lifestyle and hours are vastly different to our roommates and Rob being downstairs in the lounge room is stressing him out.
We’re asking for help to ease that stress so he can focus on healing and getting back on his feet.
If you can donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If not, sharing this means just as much.
Let’s rally around him the way he’s always been there for all of us. Thank you all many of you. Rob’s supporters
