Stand with Rey's Family in Their Time of Need

Hi, as most know Rey was involved In a horrible accident on Tues after colliding with a teammate during his softball game. There was emergency spinal surgery between his C4-C7 vertebrae. We have seen some vast improvements but we are still uncertain of anything related to work, hospital stay, rehab and what work may or may not look like after this. We r in this for a long haul even with the great stride and amazing progress in a short time. Rey was our soul provider at this time and now I will b shuffling back and forth from home to the hospital while still maintaining being a mom to 5 kids. Even though the boys r older and can do more I don't want to leave the soul burden on them. They miss their dad and have not been able to c him since all of this. Our youngest Genesis was there at the field and unfortunately even though I don't think she saw the initial scenario she was somewhat traumatized with the ambulance on the field and seeing many people surrounding her dad. We r so thankful for the outpouring of support and offers of meals and anything we may need. This is another area where we will need a Lil help as I navigate the paperwork for some type of financial assistance. Some which I found out can't even begin to be processed till he actually comes home like disability. We will b loking at the family leave act and state help but with everything else we know paperwork and red tape could take some time and help now would b a great start to b able to help carry the burden of the bills that will still be coming , the added cost of gas due to the back and forth as well as other things.
