Stand with Renee Foster During Hardship

My name is Renee Foster. I'm a 30-year resident of the Keys. Many of you may know me from being your local bartender for the last 17 years. Others of you may know me from supporting local charities. I've done a lot for the community we live in. I love it here and I love the people. I show love and support wherever I can.

As many of you already know, my family is now facing another hardship.

I humbly come to you to ask for help. As much as this pains me and embarrasses me, I need the support of my family and friends. I have to continue to pay my bills and support my children. I will continue to work full-time and then some. In the meantime, until I can get back on my feet, I come to you with my head down and ask for help. I know it is a week before Christmas and times are tough for everyone. I only ask if you can spare a little to help - please do.

I appreciate all the love and support you have all shown me throughout the years with the fundraisers, charity events, hurricane relief drives, and all the other little random acts of kindness you have helped me accomplish. I humbly ask for your help one more time, but this time - for myself and my children.

Thank you all for the calls, texts, and messages asking me about my well-being. This is a terrible time in my life, but I will stay strong for my children.
