Stand with Reggie: Overcome Job Uncertainty

I am Reggie, aka Supreme Kai Darling.

Some of you might know that I had a very hurtful experience at my place of work involving racial slurs thrown not just towards me but also three other colleagues, including a manager.

We did our part by trying not to escalate the situation and asked for our guard to come escort the person out of the building after we called for the manager.

The slurs thrown around were so egregious and vulgar that the manager cursed, and it set me off.

Today, I found out an investigation into it is ongoing and was sent home. I was told to still work my shifts until there's a conclusion and whatever course of action will be taken.

I feel like my job is at great risk.

I can't afford that as I help my mom, who is home after beating cancer, and help raise my 11-year-old niece who needs me since her dad isn't in the picture. I can’t let my family down or be thrown out during this time.

I had no choice but to make this and hope anyone could donate something or anything to help me during this tough time.

I was let go by the company

The dm gm and hr looked into every way to keep me because I was so well liked by all

But rules are rules and the code of conduct was broken

I will be part of the litigation against the vile customer, which is nice to get justice

But I’m still hurt over this
