Stand with Rebecca in Her Battle Against Cancer

Hi! My name is Rebecca and I was diagnosed with ER-/ PR- HER 2 + Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with a 9cm tumor; just months after giving birth in October 2023 and just a week after my FIRST mammogram.

I went through 18 weeks of chemotherapy (taxol & carboplatin) but due to my heart function and the enlarged state of my heart I could not complete the whole chemo treatment plan. On July 3rd, I will be having a double mastectomy with a Goldilocks procedure immediately following. I am beyond ready to put this nightmare behind me!

Since giving birth, and receiving the cancer diagnosis, it has complicated my finding a job; which leaves only my husband Tyler working. Between the regular monthly bills, we now have medical bills, driving to appointments for myself as well as therapies for my daughter with autism and baby with Fabry Disease. We are barely staying afloat with the little finances we do have. Furthermore this will be before my husband has to take off work to care for me post surgery.

A little about me for those who don’t know me personally:

I am married to Tyler for almost 18 years and mom to Ethan (passed away in 2018 at 7yo from drowning), Cadence 8, and Oliver 8months. I went to school for my LPN in 2018: just days after my son Ethan passed away.
