Hi, my name is Maureen, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart on behalf of Reagan (after MUCH insistence from me). Reagan was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting chemotherapy in the coming days.

As many of you know, cancer doesn’t just take a toll on the body—it affects every part of life. The emotional, physical, and financial strain can be overwhelming. Many things are not covered by insurance. Unsurprisingly, Reagan is facing this journey with incredible grace and courage. When she shared with me that she was deliberating about the cold cap, a process designed to preserve hair follicles, because it is several thousand dollars and felt indulgent it broke my heart even more. Self care is NOT indulgent, and at the very least we can eliminate this financial obstacle for her.
