Help Us Give 21-Year-Old Raven Watson a Home After Her Life-Changing Brain Injury

On New Year’s Eve, our lives changed forever.

Raven Watson, just 21 years old, was in a devastating car accident that left her with a severe traumatic brain injury. There were moments we didn’t know if she would survive. By the grace of God, she did — but her journey is just beginning.

Raven now faces daily challenges. She is currently in a wheelchair and requires constant care, therapy, and a safe, accessible environment to continue her recovery. Despite everything, she is fighting every single day, and we truly believe she has an amazing future ahead of her.

Her brother and I stepped in for Raven because we could not imagine her being placed in a nursing home at only 21 years old. She deserves to live a full life surrounded by love, encouragement, and family. We promised we would give her the best chance possible.

Right now, we are in Houston, Texas, where Raven has been accepted into a neuro rehab facility to help with her recovery. We only have 10 days before we head back to Alabama, and we are trying to figure out safe housing for her.

The problem is… our home is a tiny house that is not very wheelchair accessible. There is not enough space for her equipment, therapy needs, or safe mobility. We don’t have land, and we do not have the financial means to purchase or build an accessible home on our own.

We are asking for help to raise funds to provide Raven with:
• A wheelchair-accessible home
• Safe entryways and ramps
• A handicap-accessible bathroom
• Space for therapy and recovery
• Room for her to grow and regain independence

Raven is only 21. She has her whole life ahead of her. We refuse to give up on her recovery, and we refuse to let her spend her life in a nursing facility when she has so much potential.

Every donation — no matter the amount — brings us closer to giving Raven a safe place to heal and rebuild her life. If you cannot donate, please share this story and keep Raven in your prayers.

Thank you for helping us fight for Raven’s future. We believe she is going to do amazing things.

With love and gratitude,
Her family ❤️
