Teenagers. Students. Members of our community. During a recent student protest in Quakertown, several minors were arrested following a law enforcement response that involved significant physical engagement with students. Video from the scene shows officers physically restraining teenagers, including a young female student who was brought to the ground. Some students required medical evaluation following the incident. These are high school students — not hardened criminals. They are now facing legal proceedings and the emotional and financial weight that comes with it.

Regardless of political perspective, minors deserve access to fair legal representation and support when navigating the justice system. This fund has been created to assist with: attorney fees, court-related expenses, medical costs related to the incident, and support services for affected students.

When young people engage in civic expression, the response should never leave families struggling to afford legal protection. If you believe in due process, proportionality, and the protection of children in our community, please consider contributing.
