Hi,

My name is Paulina Angel. I'm an activist of 20 years from the Coachella Valley. I've worked on initiatives and legislation aimed to protect the Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Community as well as the Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Community as a whole. From bills and work for the protection of LGBTQ Youth to rights for all ages. I've also done work aimed towards mental health issues, having spent the past 5 years representing Riverside/San Bernardino County on the Out4MentalHealth initiative and working with CalHope as a Suicide Prevention Counselor. But sadly, due to federal cuts done by Trump on funding of suicide warmlines, I was laid off.

My unemployment has just ended, and my EBT benefits have decreased my allowance to just $32 a month. I'm now flat-broke, and I have house bills and obligations that I need to take care of. But I can really use the help while I continue to search for employment opportunities.

I'm now fundraising for a goal of $2,500. This will help me pay for my portion of my house's property tax that is coming up fast, as well as bills such as light, gas, telephone/internet, and food.
