Stand with Paula Stoner in Her Healing Journey

Hi, my name is Carol Stoner and I am raising funds to help my sister Paula Stoner. She has recently suffered a major heart attack and has been in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit since April 6th, 2024. She had two stints placed in two of her three coronary arteries. The third artery was not able to be saved as it had already died. She is extremely sick and will not be able to return to work.

Paula has been a teacher for Carden of Tucson for the past thirty years. She loves teaching more than you could ever imagine. Her students have always meant everything to her. She has seen her former students grow up to become amazing adults who return to visit Carden and "Miss Stoner" frequently.

Paula’s road to recovery is going to be long and arduous and she will soon be without any income. She will need the funds to be able to pay for all of her living expenses over the upcoming months.

There is a great likelihood that Paula will not ever be able to go back to doing the thing she loves so much, teaching. The stress could be far too much for her.

I am raising these funds for Paula because she is my everything. She has taken care of me when I was unable to take care of myself, going far above and beyond what she should have done. She deserves so much better than what she’s now experiencing. These funds will go a very long way to removing many of Paula’s financial worries.

These funds will be used to pay for Paula’s housing expenses (rent, electricity, phone, insurance), Cobra health insurance when her health insurance runs out in June, groceries and other necessities, other household expenses (cleaning supplies, light bulbs, air filters, etc.).

These funds will give her the time to concentrate on her healing and becoming stronger every day.

Any amount you are able to give is greatly appreciated and will be used to make sure Paula has a home to return to.
