Help Rebuild A Harmony Nail Spa – A Sanctuary of Healing & Hope
My name is Paula Sadler, and I am the proud owner of A Harmony Nail Spa, an LGBTQ+-owned small business that has served the Las Vegas community since 2002. For over 22 years, I’ve offered not only beauty services, but a sanctuary for healing, diversity, and dignity.

Today, I need your help to keep this dream alive. I am seeking to raise $100,000 to save and rebuild my business after surviving a devastating series of events no small business owner should ever face—let alone a transgender woman working tirelessly for decades to uplift others.
My Story: A Hate Crime and a Broken System
In 2022, I became the target of a hate-fueled attack simply for being transgender. Three individuals launched a coordinated effort to discredit and destroy me—sending transphobic threats, harassment, and false accusations. Instead of protecting the victim, the system failed me. Despite clear video, audio, and witness statements, I was treated as the perpetrator, not the survivor.

This injustice led to my licenses being unjustly revoked in 2024 after a perfect 20-year record. I had to fight back with everything I had—hiring multiple attorneys and investigators, only to uncover that my attackers had defrauded other businesses too. I eventually won my license back, but at an unbearable cost—emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
️‍ A Legacy of Giving, Now in Need of a Miracle
Throughout my life, I’ve been a proud LGBTQ+ advocate, a vocal opponent of eminent domain abuse, and a tireless community leader. I’ve employed hundreds of people over the years—many LGBTQ+ and marginalized individuals—and supported nonprofits, local artists, and grassroots events since 1995. I’ve hosted clean-ups, fought for fair redevelopment, and built a spa that welcomes all with dignity.

But the last three years have taken everything:
- Over $300,000 in losses
- My entire retirement savings and credit gone
- The passing of my beloved mother, and the emotional and financial toll that followed

And yet—I’m still here. I’m still sober after 22 years. Still believing in miracles. Still believing in the goodness of people. Still dreaming of a better future.
What Your Gift Will Support
With your help, I can stabilize and grow A Harmony Nail Spa to its full potential:
- $63,000 for back rent to remain in our historic location
- $30,000 reserve fund to protect against future shutdowns
- Rebuilding and hiring staff again
- Advertising and outreach to restore our customer base
- Launching our Advanced Education & Master Series training program
- Continuing to be a safe space for LGBTQ+, allies, and all people seeking wellness, healing, and self-care
A Note From My Heart
I don’t like asking for help. This is a big ask—and one I never imagined I’d have to make. But I’m turning this over to God and to the Angels watching over me.

I have always trusted that miracles come when we open our hearts. I am the author of The Nature of Miracles , a book I published I wrote after 9/11 to help people heal and self-published in 2009-2001 and again in October 2024 as a 20th Anniversary Edition on Amazon for the first time, hoping it would help rebuild what I’ve lost. I am also working on an original music album based on the 12 Steps of Recovery, several new book projects, and a documentary. My dream is to one day create a life reset program and healing recovery ranch in Las Vegas specifically for transgender women

In March of this year, I founded The Universal Rainbow Faith Church, a growing spiritual movement fighting religious discrimination and persecution through sacred protections and freedom. Our goal is to make sure that no LGBTQIA+ person is ever erased from faith or denied their divine worth.
Still Standing After Everything
I’ve survived more than most ever will:
- Born three months premature—I almost didn’t make it.
- At 12, I nearly lost my will to live.
- From 19 to 26, I lived through addiction, before finding the path of sobriety—22 years strong today.
- In 2017–2019, I faced another deep valley in sobriety, and again in 2022, I nearly gave up.

But through every storm, I’ve returned to prayer, to meditation, to my 12-step community, my Unity Church, my sponsor, and my Higher Power. I could have walked away, I could have died—but I’m still here. I’m still standing.

To lose nearly everything I’ve worked for—and then lose my business temporarily—was devastating. But to know it happened because of who I am and because of the good I’ve done in the community makes it even harder.
✨ I Believe in Love and Miracles
If you’ve read this far, thank you. Please know that your support isn’t just helping a salon—it’s keeping alive a mission, a community space, and a light in the darkness for others like me.

Let’s show the world that good people doing good work are never alone.
With deepest gratitude and unwavering hope,

Paula Sadler
