Stand with Paul: Support for a Dog Hero's Recovery
Donation protected
On Monday, June 3rd Paul sustained major injuries from being mauled by one of the dogs he had set out to ensure that the dog had a good, healthy life.
In 2017, Paul and his wife set out to create a nonprofit rescue for working dogs that have previously served in the military and police force, finding them good, loving homes that understood the nature of the dogs as well as homes that would provide them the adequate care needed- physically, emotionally and mentally. They are known to our community as Patriot K9. Their job has been anything but an easy one; taking up a good portion of their life and time. Their relentless perseverance paid off; finding homes for over 170 dogs, without incident in the 7 years they have pursued this path.
This past week, Paul was attacked and mauled to the point that he is lucky to still be here with us. It is going to be a long, arduous road to recovery. Dawn is now caring for Paul full time and unable to work at her job as she usually does. We are asking anyone to make a donation to help them financially as they push through this ordeal. Any amount will help and be so appreciated! Paul and Dawn are some of the kindest, most generous people on the planet and it's time for us to step up and help them out the same as they have helped countless families and dogs.
