One of our very own was seriously injured on his way to work at Jasper County Animal

Control on 8/4/25.

Patrick Moore is dedicated to our county’s animals when he is on duty with Jasper County. He has such empathy for our animals, going over and beyond to make sure anything under his care is safe and well cared for. He is only one phone call away from helping in any way.

When he is not on call with Jasper County, he is serving at Spaulding County Sheriff’s Department, as a full time employee.

He is a true local hero.

Patrick is 38 yrs old, has 2 young children and has served his community and country throughout his life. He served in our US Army and was stationed in many different areas keeping his fellow citizens safe.

He’s now fighting for his life at a trauma hospital in Macon, Ga as his small compact car collided with a semi truck on Hwy 83 where he was trapped when the car caught fire.

We are trying to raise funds for him as we don’t believe he has short term disability. Patrick will be out of work for many months while his body heals from this trauma.

He is currently on a ventilator, has undergone 3 surgeries with more upcoming.

We need to step up for Patrick as he has always stepped up for his community in many ways!!

We don’t want him to worry about how he’s going to make ends meet ~ we just want him to concentrate on getting better as we all need him!!
