here is a little bit of what Panda has been through:
Not to mention re-learning how to walk & live again. We all are aware he had his small bowel transplant in March.

In January 2022, Panda's local hospital misdiagnosed him with gastroenteritis, sent him home, and then 2 days later, he was told to go back. They found a blood clot in his intestines; it had burst, and he had gone septic. He had to have emergency surgery and had all of his intestines & part of his small bowel removed. He was put into a medically induced coma, and they told his mother that he had a 10 percent chance of living. But he woke up a month later with no clue of what happened to him, and he has been fighting to stay alive ever since. It has been very hard and scary on Panda and his family. Panda found two amazing doctors at Mt. Sinai who are specialists in intestinal/small bowel transplants. Panda just had his transplant 9 months post, and he got to enjoy his first real meal in 2 years. I am trying to get him a little help with his financial situation because of Panda's recovery time and him not being able to work until he fully recovers, which should take anywhere from 8 months now. He’s also now in stage 4 kidney failure and will possibly need yet another transplant. If I’m being honest, he is very behind on a lot, and he would really appreciate any help or assistance he can get. Anyone who knows Panda knows that he’s worked his whole life, donated to charities, taken care of his family, and put others' needs in front of his own. Now, he's the one in need of help, so I’m reaching out to the community with high hopes, hoping that there are still kind, caring people in this world with good hearts ❤️. Maybe a Christmas miracle? The donations will go to transportation to and from Mount Sinai and out-of-pocket medicine that insurance won’t cover. I’d appreciate anything anyone can do. Thank you very much, greatly, and thank you to everyone who has donated.

A note from Panda himself:

Thank you very much. Your support and love make all the difference in my journey. I hope you continue to follow me because there’s more amazing content to come when I get out of this hospital. Thank you for being a great supporter. Much love, Panda

Story of Resilience: My name is Panda, and I am a fighter who has overcome incredible odds. I had only a 10 percent chance of survival back in January 2022. A misdiagnosis led to a life-threatening situation, but through sheer strength, I braved emergency surgery and a medically induced coma, defying the slim chance of survival.

A New Chapter: Today, I stand strong with the support of two specialist doctors at Mt. Sinai. After a long journey, including a life-changing intestinal/small bowel transplant, I got to enjoy my first real meal in two years. A true testament to resilience and the power of hope.

❤️ Call to Action: ❤️ In the midst of recovery, I humbly reach out for support during this challenging time. Your kindness can make a difference in my journey to full recovery. Any contribution, big or small, is a beacon of hope. Let’s come together as a community to support me and my family.

✨Spread the Word: ✨ Share this post to raise awareness and extend a helping hand. Together, while panda restarts his life 2 years of not being able a solid meal, we can uphold the spirit of compassion and make a positive impact in someone’s life. Your support matters more than you know. Let’s rally behind Panda and show that kindness and generosity still thrive.
