*Update*

After a couple of weeks of testing, we found out mom has lumps in both breasts, but only the right side is cancerous. A CT scan was done and everything looks clear, so the cancer hasn’t spread outside of the first lymph node on her right side. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3 aggressive Breast Cancer.

As the cancer is aggressive (and already growing bigger), she will have to go through 4 months of chemotherapy, then have a double mastectomy.

In July, our beloved mom, and wife, Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer. The news came as a shock to us all and has turned our world upside down. While we’re remaining strong and hopeful, the road ahead is filled with uncertainty, appointments, treatments, and unfortunately costs.

Pam is one of the most caring and selfless people you could ever meet. She’s the heart of our family—always putting others first, whether it’s her family, friends, or anyone in need. If you’ve ever met her, you know you can’t walk away from the conversation without smiling and feeling uplifted. Now, she’s facing the biggest fight of her life, and we want to make sure she doesn’t have to face it alone.

She will soon begin treatment, though we are not sure to what extent yet, and the medical bills have just started coming in the mail. We are still waiting on some more scans, testing and biopsies to confirm what path is the best, but it’s sounding more and more like a double mastectomy is the front runner. On top of that, there are travel expenses, time off work to recover, and other costs that, of course, aren’t covered by insurance. We’re asking for help to ease the financial burden so she can focus entirely on healing and getting through this on top.
