Hi, my name is Assia, and I'm setting up a GoFundMe for my friend Oksana - she is from a small town close to Kiev in Ukraine, which is under siege by Russian armed forces.

Oksana is a special kind of human - she would give the clothes off her back to anyone in need. She has 7 cats (6 of which are rescue), and paid for all their medical expenses out of pocket.

She is going to Ukraine this week, risking her life, and will be bringing huge bags of clothes, OTC medication, water filters, and medical supplies such as wound dressings, bandages, first aid kits, and other medical items for injured people in need, especially in bombed areas. So far, she has financed everything herself completely, working herself to exhaustion. All funds will go towards Oksana directly, helping her obtain and transfer supplies directly.
