Stand with Nico and Megan in Their Time of Need!

This GoFundMe has been created to support Nico and Megan Janeiro as they face an incredibly difficult time filled with unexpected medical expenses and uncertainty.

On Sunday, October 5th, Nico and his brother-in-law, Jacob Grooms, were riding their motorcycles to Florida’s east coast to enjoy a concert — a simple weekend trip meant for fun and relaxation. Tragically, while going around a curve, Nico lost control of his motorcycle. He wasn’t speeding or riding recklessly — it was a freak accident that could happen to anyone.

The crash left Nico with multiple broken ribs and a collarbone shattered in five places. His most urgent need right now is surgery to repair the collarbone so he can begin the long road to recovery. Unfortunately, the hospital requires a $20,000 payment upfront before they will perform the surgery.

The Janeiro family is doing everything they can, but this sudden financial burden is overwhelming. That’s why we’re asking for your help — to make sure Nico gets the care he needs as soon as possible.

We’ve set a goal of $25,000, which includes the surgery cost and an additional $5,000 to help cover food and living expenses during Nico’s recovery. Since Nico will be unable to work for some time, this support will help Megan keep their household going while she continues to work and care for him.
