RUNNING FOR NEPAL — STANDING WITH THE VICTIMS & SURVIVORS
My name is Kamal. I was born and raised in Nepal, and Nepal will always have a special place in my heart.
Today, I live in Rocklin, California, with my wife and our three children. I am a husband, a father, and a professional nurse. My profession has taught me that during times of crisis, every helping hand matters.
In 2015, after the devastating earthquake in Nepal, I raised funds and traveled to Nepal to assist survivors and communities affected by the disaster. That experience stayed with me and strengthened my commitment to helping people during their most difficult moments.
Now, on September 19, I will be running a half marathon with Run for Coffee Rocklin. I am dedicating this run to the victims of the devastating floods in Nepal, the survivors, and the families who are still suffering.
I am asking you to join me in supporting Nepal. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Every dollar can make a difference.
All funds raised will go directly to the Nepal Government Prime Minister’s Fund.
My long-term goal is to one day join the Red Cross and contribute to emergency preparedness and disaster response—using my nursing experience and my connection to Nepal to help people when they need it most.
This run is more than a race for me.
It is a run for Nepal. It is a run for the victims. It is a run for the survivors. It is a run for hope. ❤️
Pray for Nepal. Stand with Nepal. Stay strong.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and generosity.
