Hi there,
I'm Tori, Nasi’s mom.
Let me start off with a trigger warning. What you are about to read is incredibly horrific.
My cat Nasi, a 12-year-old cat that we’ve had since he was a kitten, was mutilated within the city of Murrieta. He was sliced in half, his insides were carved out, and he was stuffed with dirt in his insides and his mouth. He went missing for approximately 33 hours. On 12/9 at 9 am, we received a pinged notification from his AirTag to then find him in a man-made grave at Murrieta Mesa HS’s softball parking lot. We did not find his lower half of his body to this day. This was not an animal attack and is verified by the vet that this was clearly a human being that did this.
For 12 years, Nasi was more than just a cat. He was a loyal companion, a source of emotional support, and an unwavering presence for our active duty military family that has faced countless challenges and deployments. Nasi was part of a family with four human siblings and 3 other fur babies, each of whom grew up with him and now faces the painful loss of their beloved.
This crime was not just an attack on an animal—it was a deliberate, horrifying act of cruelty. Someone in our community inflicted unimaginable harm on Nasi, and now his family is left with broken hearts, searching for justice. The Murrieta Police Department is investigating as well as the ASPCA, but we need YOU to help. This isn't just about one family grieving their pet—it's about the safety of our entire community. Someone capable of harming an innocent animal is a serious threat to us all. This person could pose a risk to children, other pets, or anyone in their path.
Murrieta is a community built on compassion, respect, and safety. Let’s stand together, not only to seek justice for Nasi, but to ensure that our homes and streets remain safe for every child, every family, and every animal. This crime cannot be ignored. Together, we can bring justice, peace, and healing. We can make Murrieta a stronger, safer place for all. Let’s be vigilant. Let’s act. Let’s protect what matters most.
If you have any information or camera footage from the homes around the area behind Target (near Cal Oaks) on Nasi’s last seen moments and any car/person on 12/7 between 12-7 am and 12/8 between 5-9:30 am, Every detail counts, and your help could make all the difference.
The case number is MR24-6333 for murrieta PD
We have put this GoFundMe up due to the countless donation requests by our family and community to help catch who brutally murdered our fur child.
If no one comes forward and we do not find out any valuable information we will be donating the money to the ASPCA.
