I have witnessed and experienced Andrea Porter show up for others over and over and OVER. Now it’s our turn to hold her and her family in support and love.

Help Nash Fight: Supporting the Porter Family in Crisis
Nash is a healthy, bright, shark-loving 9-year-old boy who adores swimming—swimming, swimming, and more swimming. When he’s not in the water, he’s helping with homestead chores, making his family laugh, and soaking in life with his sister and friends. He’s sweet, whip-smart, and strong. He’s the kind of kid you can’t help but love.
The Porter family was in Montana for a gathering when Nash first became ill. What started as tummy troubles suddenly escalated. They clipped the trip itinerary, hoping rest and care would help him recover.
But over the next few days, Nash’s body didn’t seem to know what it needed. Andrea—his mom—did everything she could to keep him hydrated and comfortable, believing it was a passing bug.
By Monday, it was clear something wasn’t right. The things that always worked… weren’t.
Seth (dad) took Nash to urgent care. Andrea, due to her own health challenges, couldn’t drive—but none of them could have imagined that this would be the last time Andrea saw her son conscious.
While at urgent care, Nash had a seizure. He was rushed by ambulance to Sacred Heart. On the way, his heart stopped.
Right now, Nash is fighting for his life.
He is on life support and receiving every possible intervention. But because of the support measures required to keep him alive, doctors are unable to run many of the diagnostic tests that could explain what caused this sudden, devastating collapse.
The road ahead is unclear. But what is clear is that Nash is in the best hands. Sacred Heart has one of the top cardiovascular teams in the country. Every moment of care is critical—and costly.
A single night in the PICU averages $2,200–$2,600. And that’s just the bed.
The Porters are not a family focused on financial gains. They are a homesteading, hardworking, give-you-their-last of anything kind of family.
Andrea is the heart of their home, raising their children, tending bees, caring for animals. Seth is her steady supportive partner, now living in a hospital waiting room just steps from where Nash fights to breathe. Both parents are completely focused on their son. As they should be.
But they cannot do this alone.

Here’s how you can help:
• Your donation will go directly to support Nash’s medical care, the loss of income during this crisis, and covering care for their homestead while Andrea is gone.
• Every dollar matters. Truly.
• If giving financially isn’t possible, please pray. Light a candle. Speak Nash’s name. Support the family by holding them close in your heart.
The Porters have always shown up for others.
Let’s show up for them now.
Nash is still here. Still fighting.
Let’s help him come home.
