Stand with Nahvah B. in Her Mental Health Journey

Greetings, and hello to all the people of the . My name is Nahvah B. I was born & raised overseas, but I am currently living in Atlanta, GA for the past 13 years. I am a single mother of two beautiful daughters (Saraia-6yrs old & Serenity- 1 yrs old).

Just shy of a month ago, I was admitted to a mental and behavioral center for six days for almost having a mental breakdown. I was later diagnosed with Bipolar Manic Depression & Anxiety disorder, which means my mind is not fully functioning properly for me to be able to go back to work in downtown Atlanta. With that being said, I currently am the sole provider for my family and household with no additional funds coming in due to my fiance being in a car accident and we were experiencing homelessness less than six months ago.

Due to my diagnosis, I am not able to go back to work until next month and that is only if my doctor gives me and my mental the go-ahead to go back to work. Mental illness and Postpartum is extremely real. I am the first person to be diagnosed with mental illness in my family.

I have created this Go Fund Me to bring awareness to mental illness and to get some financial assistance. These funds would also help me pay for my medication and pay my bills. My family and I are appreciative of all funds, prayers, and donations. Always remember that we all are one and Mental Illness is very real & no matter where or what you look like or what walk of life you're from, we all have some form of Mental Illness, and it's okay to not always be okay and say you need and want help
