Hello everyone,

I am Jinan from Gaza, an Artist who lost all my paint works during the war.

I am sorry to see my dreams and aspirations and those of my family being shattered by this hateful war! But I am trying, despite the pain, to find a way to survive and compensate for my loss. As for my family, we have been living the suffering in all its details since the beginning of the war until now. At the beginning of the war, we did not move to the south. We remained steadfast in northern Gaza because of fear. We lived through the bombing over our heads in our home and displacement from one place to another in the north more than 8 times. We lost about 11 of our relatives who were martyred. I was injured in my foot and face, and my sister Tida was also injured. My mother was injured in her foot. A young boy was killed due to gas poisoning. Our other cat was injured and one of his teeth was broken. Finding food for him is scarce, and if it is found, it is very expensive. We lived through famine in northern Gaza. We were cut off from the world, without internet or phones. Even our dreams and work were cut off. We miraculously left Jabalia during the last invasion before the first truce. Then we discovered that our house was burned. All the memories became ashes. A large part of the house was burned, and the other half was destroyed. It is not suitable for living. As an artist, I Collection My room was destroyed with all my paintings that I was preparing for an exhibition abroad. 25 paintings were burned.. and my artwork became ashes with no trace of their existence. Now we have moved to live in the heart of Gaza City. We lived the second famine from lack of food, malnutrition and indescribably high food prices. We were exposed to bandits and thieves, so the situation here is unsafe. We tried to leave Gaza, but we lost everything we owned. My loss and that of my family are huge. I tried to return to work and paint again, but I could not because of the high cost of equipment, most of which is scarce, and because all my equipment and paints were burned in my home. Because of the border closure, I cannot ship my artwork as well, and I am afraid that it will be burned again because of the war. Now I live in fear of displacement and the high costs of displacement, which represent a threat to us. Please help me and my family and support us to get out of this tragedy. I will attach photos of what happened to us from the beginning of the war until now.

I am writing to you today hoping that our voices will reach you, because your support could mean the difference between life and death for us. Every dollar you donate will bring us one step closer to survival and will have a profound impact on the lives of three daughters, a mother, and a father who only dream of surviving safely. Your support is not just financial assistance; it is a message of hope and an opportunity to save an entire family from perdition.

We ask for your mercy and compassion, as we live in a relentless nightmare, where every day that passes increases the danger to us, and every moment without support could mean the difference between life and death. You are the hope that can save us, the hands that can give us a second chance to live in safety.
