At Regional Homes of Lufkin, we are more than a workplace, we are a family. For years, Mr. Chaney has been one of the strongest members of that family. At 70 years old, he still shows up with a smile, a strong work ethic, and a heart full of love for what he does. He often reminds us that he doesn’t just work for Regional Homes, he works with us, because this place, and the people here, mean so much to him.

Now, it’s our turn to stand by him. His wife is battling stage 4 cancer, and Mr. Chaney has chosen to spend his days taking her to chemo treatments, sitting by her side, and giving her the love and care she deserves. That means he’s missing work, something that has always been so important to him, not just for income, but because he takes pride in being part of our success and our mission to serve families.

This is not something Mr. Chaney would ever ask for. That’s why we are asking on his behalf. We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden caused by missed work so that he can continue focusing on what truly matters, his wife’s health and their time together.

Mr. Chaney has been the first to jump when we needed help, the first to say yes without hesitation, and the kind of man who makes everyone around him better. It’s time we return the favor and show him that the family he loves so much at Regional Homes of Lufkin loves him right back. Mr. Chaney has spent over 40 years in the manufactured home business and is a well respected contractor, he deserves it!
