Misty Daniels has dedicated her life to saving neglected and abused animals in the Deep South.

She is a wife and mother who’s now facing the fight of her own life.

After months of debilitating symptoms and countless tests, Misty has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma.

But her case is unusual, and she still has multiple life-altering symptoms that are unexplained.

She is in treatment and facing extreme medical bills, stress and expense.

A Lifesaver Herself

As executive director of Amory Humane Society, in small-town Mississippi, Misty has dedicated her life to accomplishing the impossible — saving thousands of lives with minuscule funding.

Dogs and cats most in need have come to her suffering with disease, malnourishment, fear. They’ve left her healthy, happy and on their way to furever homes.

Under Misty's leadership, Amory Humane Society has become one of the most respected rescues in the region.

Misty and her selfless, dedicated husband, Michael, also volunteer with her church and help people in the community.

Now, thousands of dollars in medical bills continue to pile up, her husband is having to take many days off work, and they have to travel to MD Anderson. Expenses continue to mount.

Misty has helped rural animals for more than 20 years. Now, we can give back.
