As a mother this is incredibly hard to share.

My son, A’millyn “Milly” Stubblefield, is a bright, driven 19 yr old young man with an extraordinary story and an even greater future ahead of him.

From a young age, Milly showed leadership and character. He was voted class President in middle school, earned A&B Honor Roll recognition, and even had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Mayor of Las Vegas, Nevada. These moments reflected what we already knew—Milly was destined to lead.

In high school, Milly became a well-known and respected football athlete, helping his team advance to the state finals and competing at the iconic Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Through years of discipline, hard work, and sacrifice, Milly earned over 40 college football offers nationwide, while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.

He graduated with honors in May 2025 and is now a freshman in college in Massachusetts on a football scholarship, majoring in Criminal Law and Forensics Science.

Behind these accomplishments is a story of resilience. In December 2022, Milly’s father’s life was tragically taken by senseless violence. That loss deeply impacted our family, especially Milly as a teenage black male. Yet, even through unimaginable pain, grief and trauma, he remained focused on his goals, determined to honor his father and create a better future for himself and his family.

Milly is the first of six siblings—two brothers and three sisters—to attend college. He carries not only his own dreams, but the hopes of his entire family on his shoulders.

Milly is an amazing popular kid well known in his city. Continuously supported by his coaches, high school staff, a host of mentors and principals. He’s a loving son, respectful grandson, protective strong brother, charming nephew, charismatic silly cousin, and a loyal one of a kind friend—very smart, outgoing, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Unfortunately, during this past Thanksgiving break, while visiting home in Las Vegas with friends, Milly was caught up in a situation that does not reflect who he is—a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong crowd- ‘Innocent’ but in the eyes of the law ‘Guilty’, until proven otherwise. Milly has never been in trouble with the law a day in his life, not even a speeding ticket. This unexpected situation now threatens everything he has worked so hard to achieve.

We are raising funds to help cover legal expenses so that Milly can return to school as soon as possible to continue his education and athletic career. Time is critical, and we do not want to see years of dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance go to waste.

We humbly ask from the heart for any support you can give to help with legal counsel and expenses. Milly was just offered 3 new scholarships for the upcoming spring closer to home to be near his family. He is completely devastated and unsure of what will happen if we do not get great legal representation. No amount is too small, and every donation, prayer, and share makes a difference. We understand this is a difficult time for many, especially during the holidays but we truly appreciate anything you’re able to contribute.

We are keeping our faith strong and trusting that God is by our side. We know that

God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers’ - this biased justice system CAN not and WILL not have our son.
