Stand with Miguel: Urgent Legal Aid Needed. Stand up to ICE

Many of you know Miguel—not by name, but through the love and labor he’s poured into the weddings we’ve celebrated here at Pioneer Farm. For over twenty years, Miguel has worked tirelessly behind the scenes—on farms, in construction, and at our weddings—helping to bring joy to so many couples and families. Like so many undocumented workers, he has quietly built a life of service, strength, and dignity in our community.

But now Miguel needs our help.

Last Friday, while walking his young son to the school bus, Miguel was apprehended by four masked ICE agents in an unmarked van. He was taken without warning and is now being held in detention. His sudden disappearance has devastated his family—especially his two very young children. His youngest was born prematurely and continues to face serious medical challenges. Miguel is their sole provider.

His legal fees have already exceeded $5,000. A $10,000 bond is looming, with additional legal costs expected as his case moves forward.
