Stand with Michelle Couvion in Her Fight

Hi my name is Roland Chodorowski and I started this fundraiser for Michelle Couvion and her husband Paul Couvion. Michelle was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. The cancer has now spread to her spinal cord along with other parts of her body. During her time at the University of Washington Hospital, she has under gone back surgery to remove the cancerous tumors from her spinal cord. During this surgery, the lower vertebrae in her back were broken. She has been in the hospital for over 5 weeks now, battling for her life. This family is important to me in so many ways and I want to be able to help them by reaching out to our community on their behalf. Michelle is a respected teacher at Saint Mary's Catholic School and has dedicated her life to teaching children and shaping young minds. She is an extraordinary teacher, wife, and friend. I ask all who take the time to read this, to please reflect on their own lives and know that this unexpected and heartbreaking situation can happen to any of us. Any money raised will go towards the never-ending medical bills and travel expenses the Couvion's are faced with. Paul is attempting to work his full time job and travel to and from UW to be there for his wife. We pray for her healthy recovery and a safe trip back home to Spokane when she is finally able to be released from the hospital. She has a long road to recovery and by donating to this incredible woman you will help their family get through this a little bit easier. My goal is to show them that nobody should feel alone in a time of such great need, or left without a helping hand.
