I don’t have much time left, so I’m asking for help as directly as I can.
I was brought to the United States from Colombia in 1992 when I was just 10 years old. I grew up here. This is the only home I know.
In 2012, on my way to work, I was suddenly detained by ICE. That’s when I found out I was facing deportation because of a missed immigration appointment tied to a past marriage—an appointment I never received after moving. One missed notice changed everything.
For over 16 years, I have fought to stay in this country. I did everything the right way. I hired lawyers, showed up, filed appeals, and spent years trying to fix something I didn’t even know was happening at the time.
Now I’m out of options.
I’ve exhausted every appeal, and I’ve been ordered to turn myself in. I am facing the reality of being taken from the life I’ve built, the people I love, and the only place I’ve ever truly called home.
This fight has drained me emotionally and financially. I would not be asking if I had any other choice.
I need help covering legal costs, basic living expenses, and preparing for what comes next. Every single donation matters. If you can’t donate, please share this—because right now, visibility could make all the difference.
I’m not ready to lose everything.
Thank you for hearing me out and standing with me during the hardest moment of my life.
