Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, our son Maverick has been struggling with frequent bouts of strep throat, with his most recent diagnosis occurring on July 28th. On August 1st, I took him to see an ENT specialist, and unfortunately, the doctor confirmed my concerns—Maverick will need surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids.

Given this, I (Sarah) will need to take unpaid time off work to care for Maverick during his recovery. While Ernie has generously offered to cover extra shifts, it will not be enough to meet our immediate needs during this time.

As a family, we have never been ones to ask for help, but we find ourselves in a situation where any support would be deeply appreciated. If you are able to contribute, whether financially or with any kind words, we would be incredibly grateful.
