Stand with Matt and Missy in Tough Times

On Friday, May 31, my brother Matt Kieper was enjoying a bonfire at his home. Towards the end of the night, Matt was trying to put the fire out and tripped, falling backwards into the fire pit. Matt was taken to the local hospital where the decision was made to airlift him to the burn unit at UW Madison.

Matt suffered burns to his left arm, hand, and back. He will have a long road to recovery which comes with time off work and substantial medical bills.

Update: Matt is still at the UW Hospital in Madison. He is still having daily treatments to clean his burns and assess the severity. He will be there for a while longer while skin grafts are discussed. Missy is making trips back and forth to visit Matt.
