Hello, my name is Caitlin and I am requesting assistance for the farm where I have spent several years as a volunteer.

My friends have dedicated themselves to building more than a farm- they’ve built a place of compassion, community, and generosity.

Their farm in Central Massachusetts is home to pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, turkeys, chickens, two beloved dogs, and a cat. They work endlessly to care for these animals while also giving back to their community through food donations and discounted CSA shares for families who are struggling. They have always prioritized that healthy food and kindness should be accessible to everyone.

Now, they need that same community to stand with them.

The farm owners are involved in a legal dispute with their landlord over a complex lease agreement. They dispute the claims being made against them, but the property lease is lengthy and complicated enough that representing themselves is simply not a realistic option. Without experienced legal counsel, they risk losing the opportunity to fully defend their rights, their home, and the farm they’ve worked so hard to build.

They urgently need $10,000 to secure a legal defense.

This fundraiser is about more than legal fees. It’s about protecting a farm that serves its community, safeguarding the many animals who depend on these two humans every day, and ensuring they have a fair chance to present their case.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward legal expenses, food, shelter and care of themselves and the animals. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this fundraiser is another powerful way to help.

Please consider standing with my friends, their farm, and the incredible community they’ve created. Together, we can help give them the resources they need to fight for their farm, their animals, and their future.

Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your support.

*Due to the scary circumstances the farm is facing, my friends’ names, their city and the farm name have been removed from this listing so that their landlord does not sabotage our financial efforts to resolve this conflict.*
