Help Mason fight Leukemia
Donation protected
Some of you know already, but most are not aware. My son Mason has been admitted to Maria Fareri’s Children’s Hospital in Westchester. Mason just turned 15 last month, and even though he is a big boy, he is still my baby. As a parent/mother, it pains me to see my son suffer.
A month ago, Mason came down with COVID, and ever since, he has become progressively more ill. We got to the ER just in time. Right now, we are looking at childhood Leukemia. Mason has had so many tests done and still has a lot to go. We are facing treatment of unknown duration and time here at the hospital. Mason has developed Diabetes and is now receiving Insulin. Mason is having a difficult time right now and is very depressed.
I am a single mother with my two daughters still at home. Mason and I are far from home, and I am unable to work so I can be here to care for him. I am a contract employee (no work, no income). I don’t have a job where I get sick time or vacation. The uncertainty of how long we will be here, no income, and the length of treatment is a financial concern/burden. Any help you could provide me and my family from losing what little we have is greatly appreciated beyond measure. Childhood illness sucks!!
