Support for the Family of Asif Iqbal: A Martyr of the Bangladeshi Student Movement

We are deeply saddened to share the tragic loss of Asif Iqbal, a beloved son, brother, friend, and a true hero. Asif was tragically killed during the recent Bangladeshi student movement on July 19th, around 6:30 pm in Mirpur 10, Dhaka. His untimely death has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Asif was the eldest son of his family, a role he embraced with immense love and responsibility. He was a student of Monipur High School, Dhaka Commerce College, and Independent University of Bangladesh, where he was not only a dedicated learner but also a caring senior, always willing to extend a helping hand to his juniors. Asif was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for his friends and peers. His contributions to the student community were countless, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Asif's sacrifice during the movement makes him a martyr, a symbol of courage and dedication to a cause greater than himself. We, his friends, peers, and well-wishers, have come together to honor his legacy by raising funds to support his grieving family during this difficult time. The funds collected will be used to help his family manage the financial burdens that come with such a devastating loss, and to ensure that Asif's memory is celebrated in a manner befitting his life and his sacrifice.
