In September 2022, Martin Casey was diagnosed with MDS—a rare and aggressive blood cancer. Since then, he's fought with strength and determination through countless appointments, painful procedures, and an unpredictable journey.

Recently, Martin's condition progressed rapidly, and he received the devastating news that his MDS has developed into acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Without treatment, his prognosis would be limited to just a few months. But Martin isn't giving up—he's choosing to fight.

He's now receiving intensive chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City and will be hospitalized for the foreseeable future to undergo treatment and close monitoring.

Martin is a devoted father, husband, and proud grandfather. His family means everything to him, and being able to be near him during this time is a top priority.

This fundraiser was created to help ease the burden of travel, tolls, parking, lodging, and other related costs—so the family can focus fully on what matters most: being there for Martin.
