On August 17th at 4 a.m., we received a call that no parent wants to receive. Our oldest son, Marquees, had been shot in the head in a drive-by shooting at an unauthorized on-campus college party. Marquees is a warrior; he survived but has lost the sight in his left eye. He will

have surgery to repair the fractures in his cheekbone.

We wasn't going to do this but we know it's going to help down this long road to recovery, were not asking for much, but anything will help ease the burden of mom and dad not working. We are going to be by his side every step of the way. He has a long recovery ahead. Thanks in advance.
