Who I am:

My name is Malinda. I am a woman. I am a mommy of 6 precious children. I am 40 years old. I am a daughter. I am an Operating Room Nurse. I am loving. I have awesome curly hair. I am calm, and I am patient and kind. I am generous. I have beautiful blue eyes. My smile lights a room. I am responsible and I am dependable. I am spiritual, and I desire peace. I am funny. I am an artist. A barber. I play the guitar, and I can sing. I am strong. I am safe. I am smart, and I am good. I am the best laundress one could find. I am powerful. I am courageous. I am confident.

Every day, I help save the lives of others. Every day when I go to work, it is in the hopes of saving lives. Giving an organ to help my father live. Adopting our 6 precious children from the foster care system so that they could live.

I deserve to live too.

And, I cannot do this alone…

I am asking for support, as a mother of my 6 beloved children, to raise money for legal expenses that are tied to my upcoming divorce, and other legal proceedings. I have endured seven years of narcissistic abuse including mental, psychological, emotional, verbal, and others at the hands of my spouse. I am seeking funds to cover my legal fees relating to family law, as I go through a much-needed divorce and I seek what is in the best interest of our 6 children we’ve legally adopted through the foster system. I will also be hiring a civil lawyer for defamation, and the emotional, psychological, and other pain inflicted by my spouse. My spouse's abuse has extended to our oldest son who has had to move out of the family home due to the negative treatment he was enduring because of his close relationship with me, his mother. My spouse refuses to leave the home that is co-owned by each of us and has already indulged in another relationship outside of the marriage. My spouse put my belongings in the back corner of the basement while I was away for a month. This is only part of what the younger children have been forced to accept.

I attended a treatment, called Kinder in the Keys, out of state, that lasted for over a month, in order to heal from the trauma I have had to deal with over my lifetime, especially these past seven years. Fortunately, I experienced positive results from this intense, and expensive, mental health program. I worked hard on what needed to be done to survive my circumstances and came through with a positive outlook and a renewed sense of self, and my worth as an individual. Unfortunately, I lost my job because I had to be away for that long, but I am a surgical nurse and will find another job. In the meantime, I need to concentrate on my legal battles. I am an awesome person, have many friends and co-workers who would attest to my honesty, faith, and work ethic. I am asking and fully appreciate as much emotional and monetary support as is possible. Please seriously consider supporting me and my precious children as we move forward.
