Please help Maggie Savanick Marchionda!
Maggie has been diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer, which is very aggressive. She is a single mom with two young children, who are also struggling with their mom’s condition.
Maggie’s life has changed dramatically since the diagnosis, which means that what she can do as a mom has changed as well.
Maggie has chemo treatments every Friday, which are really taking a toll on her—physically and mentally. This will very soon affect her ability to work. Maggie has been a nurse for many years, taking care of the young and old. She currently works as a wound specialist at a nursing/rehab center. She is caring, compassionate, and selfless. Her desire to help those around her is unwavering.
Maggie is looking at four more months of chemo and surgery after that. She has already had to reduce her hours due to the toll chemo has taken on her body. Very soon she will have to stop working altogether, which means she will have no source of income.
Maggie and her children attend Abundant Grace Church in Crescent Township, and they are leaning into their faith to get them through. There are many people praying for her and her family.
Maggie has helped many people in the area over the years with her medical knowledge, her compassion, and her enormous heart. It’s now time to help her! Will you join Team Maggie and help keep her afloat until she finishes treatment and is able to go back to work? Maggie is determined to beat this, and having some financial stability will play a big part. Along with whatever you are able to donate, every little bit helps, prayers are much appreciated.
You got this Maggie!
1 John 3:17-18 “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
