Support for Luke Posey’s Leukemia Journey

Last week, our strong, smart, and fearless 18-year-old nephew, Luke Posey, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Luke is a dedicated wrestler with a kind heart and a tough spirit. He’s currently receiving treatment at Banner Hospital in Tucson, AZ, where he’ll remain for the next two weeks.

After this initial hospital stay, Luke will continue treatment three times a week for the next 10 months at Banner. He and his family live 35 miles from the hospital, and the frequent travel, time off work, and day-to-day costs are becoming overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

• Gas and transportation expenses

• Insurance deductibles and medical bills

• Meals and household costs

This diagnosis has shaken our family, but we’re staying strong and focused on Luke’s healing. If you’re able to donate or share this campaign, it would mean the world to us.

We’re also asking friends and supporters to consider donating blood or platelets. Luke has already needed two blood transfusions and platelets, and there’s currently a national blood shortage. While these donations won’t go directly to Luke, they will absolutely help others who are fighting similar battles. Visit the American Red Cross to schedule a donation or encourage your workplace to host a blood drive.
