On March 31st, 2025, our dear Luis was pulled over and arrested for what should have been a speeding violation. Instead, it resulted in Luis being held in an ICE detention center, where he has been in custody for over 68 days. He is currently awaiting a hearing at the end of July determining his status, which may result in his immediate deportation.

Luis is an incredible father, son, brother, and friend and is incredibly loved by his community. He has grown up in Texas for the majority of his life and has done nothing but show appreciation for his home. He is a UT Austin graduate, an upstanding employee and leader, and an incredible father to his three young daughters.

We intend for all proceeds to go directly to Luis, towards any legal fees and financial support for his children.
