Stand with Lucien in His Health Struggle and Surgery

My name is Kytana, and one of my best friends since junior high, Lucien, is in need of help.

Due to a case of long COVID, Lucien has been fighting Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) for two years now. He has recently been diagnosed with pheochromocytoma, a rare adrenal gland tumor, and dysautonomia that has been worsening the effects of ME/CFS. Even with medical intervention and multiple hospital stays over the course of his diagnoses, he's been declining rapidly and is bedridden for the past year.

When we were teens, we bonded over our passions for art, music, and film. We've stayed connected through college and as adults now, and I've been so proud to see him make the move to Tokyo to pursue his passions. Unfortunately, due to these unforeseen circumstances, Lucien hasn't been able to work, leading to a significant reduction in income. He's also essentially been alone in Tokyo, without family and most of his friends. The isolation combined with all of these hardships are already enough to lead to despair, but I am confident that with some help, Lucien will be able to create and share the light of his life with people once again.

The funds will go to his medical fees, including an upcoming surgery to remove the tumor, as well as to offset the lost income while he recovers.
