We are starting this fundraiser for my mom, Liz Starr, while she is at MD Anderson, fighting for her life.

As most of you know, she was diagnosed last year with Multiple Myeloma Stage 3. She started treatments and the end of 2023 and is currently getting ready to undergo a stem cell transplant. She is very weak and suffering from the terrible side effects that come from receiving chemo. Even though this is a long and painful process, she feels blessed to be able to receive this kind of treatment and hopes the doctors can learn from her case to better help someone else. This is just one example of how kind-hearted and giving Liz is. She is always thinking about others. What an extremely scary time for our family, and we know we have a long road ahead! We are asking for donations to help with all the extra medical bills and costs that insurance does not cover. She is currently at MD Anderson prepping for her first surgery and will not be able to go home for a few more months. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated as well as constant prayers for Liz as she continues on this difficult journey.
