Help Lisa Dill Fight Stage 3 Colon Cancer

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Lisa Dills Sherrill, a devoted mother and incredibly strong woman who is now facing one of the toughest battles of her life — Stage 3 colon cancer. She is a mother to 3 children. Lisa contacted me right after her dx, we talked and prayed together. With the encouragement from her case manager, she reached out to me knowing that she would need some help. She wasn't sure at first on doing this, but we all know she has a battle ahead and all the help and prayers will be greatly appreciated.

Her diagnosis came as a shock, and her world has changed. She is now traveling to Chattanooga five days a week for intensive treatment, while trying to keep life as normal as possible for her children. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming.

Because of her treatment schedule, she has had to step away from work almost entirely — only able to work a few hours on Saturdays when she feels up to it, and even that may not be sustainable much longer. Her treatment regimen has been chemo oral medication along with 5 days of radiation. Next week she will get her port in and begin IV chemotherapy and continue with the radiation 5 days a week.

This fundraiser will help cover:

Travel costs and gas for weekly trips to Chattanooga

Essential bills, groceries, and daily living expenses

Support for her children during treatment

Lost income while she focuses on healing
