Stand with Linnea: Uncover the Truth

Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,
I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life as I navigate an ongoing and complicated divorce. After over two years of legal battles, I need your help to fund a critical step in my case—a financial audit of my ex-husband, Michael McKinsey, and our two companies, FlashByte Digital LLC and FlashFire LLC.
Michael claims that both businesses went under on August 12th, the same day he took my car and I was forced to flee our home in Joshua Tree. To support his claim of having no money, he has even signed up for food stamps. However, bank statements I’ve obtained through subpoena tell a very different story. His lifestyle has continued as usual, with regular dining out and travel across the country and internationally, from Los Angeles to New York, London, Hawaii, and more. He has also been involved in gambling.
Meanwhile, I was left with nothing. Michael took my car and claimed to have sold it while he still had four of our cars, and we lost two sailboats because Mike did not pay the slip fees. The only remaining asset in both of our names is our house in Joshua Tree. He is neglecting its upkeep, letting trash pile up, and trying to devalue the property to reduce my share if it is sold. My goal is to prove that our customers of 15+ years have continued paying their bills, meaning I should be compensated for my share as part owner—50% of FlashByte and 25% of FlashFire. I also believe Michael is defrauding the State of California by falsely claiming welfare benefits.
Unfortunately, this process has been financially devastating. Since leaving my home, I’ve had to couch-surf for months before being taken in by a generous family on the East Coast. I am actively seeking work, but have yet to secure a job. To keep going, I’ve been donating plasma to cover basic needs like keeping my children’s and my cell phones working, while continuing to pay my attorney what I can.
I am raising $15,000 to pay for the financial audit to help prove my court case. This is the key to closing this painful chapter, reclaiming what is rightfully mine, and finally moving on with my life. I dream of returning to California and using my experience to launch a life coaching business to support other women trying to escape toxic and unhealthy relationships.
If you feel called to help me in this fight for justice, your support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this campaign—would mean the world to me. I am deeply grateful for anything you can contribute to help me stand up for myself and move forward to a brighter future.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
